A jerky pop song with a refrain which gets to you after listening to it only once. It has a unique association for me

Everybody's talking bout Pop Muzik".
Well, I was travelling around Europe, sleeping on trains and drinking too much beer at the time this was a hit, so that is probably why I bought the single, thanks to the memories. In truth though, this track was irritating and simplistic and the appeal wore off after a while. The music was casio-tone synthesiser level and the words were trite and banal. Nevertheless, if getting a line stuck in your head is the mark of a good pop song, then this was a good pop song.
