I don't know how this band chose its name but there is a sneaking suspicion in me which thinks they are named after the legendary Coronation Street character, Hilda Ogden. " Rachel Put Your Arms about Me" was their second single and is a jangle pop classic. The song, like most of their stuff, has a slightly offbeat edge to it which made it instantly recognisable. However, despite getting a lot of radio airplay from John Peel back in its time, neither it nor the band never got anywhere. Sadly, the two tracks on the B-Side dont match up to the A-Side and are rather weak, hence the lower rating than might be expected.
