RecommendHeros in their own country Druhu Trava still plug away at getting some recognition in North America. Their style of progressive bluegrass is very unique as the mix all sorts of instruments and influences. It shows how American music can be interpreted through internationalization. The playing on Czechmate is outstanding while their choice of material is also quite diverse. The majority of the songs are covers lik Chick Corea's "Spain", Rolling Stones' "Wild Horses", and Bob Dylan's "One more cup of coffee". Czechmate makes for a refreshing listen even if you are not a fan of bluegrass - just have a listen to their musicianship and you will be a follower.
