The greatest James Bond film theme song there ever was. When I saw the film I cried my ten year old eyes out as Diana Rigg died. No doubt because John Barry wrote it did it become so. Louis Armstrong had been making music for nigh on 50 years by the time this was released and his rich gravelly voice never sounded better. Add that to Barry's majestic music, with that characteristic minor key which does so much to tug at the heart strings, and you have a classic. Simple, majestic and elegant - what more can you want from music? Oh, the one thing I want more from music is that Guns 'n' Roses don't cover this and screw it up like they did with another James Bond theme.
