RecommendI love Steve Earle! (His music, anyway) This team up with Del McCoury was eagerly anticipated and proved to be justly so. Performing Earle's original songs with an established bluegrass band ends up being quite fresh and original. Some bluegrass is old and dated but with Steve's new songs and arrangements bluegrass is alive and well. Emmylou makes an appearance as well as Gillian Welch. Steve Earle's venture into bluegrass with Del McCoury and friends proves to be a worthy album. Long live bluegrass!
