Most would agree most popular artists out there have something truly special to give to their fans. This goes above the typical attributes like raw talent, amazing songs, nice voice, or even a very marketable look, sound and image. There's something truly infectious at the core of these artists that simply makes us feel good when we listen to them. Whatever "it" is - they all seem to have "it".

Today I listened to the latest CD from Phoenix, AZ. based singer/songwriter Heather Lingle (Coyote Beauty) released in 2011. Venturing to his website it is a very professional presentation showing this is her debut release. Reading the bio I get the impression Lingle is both a soul searcher and quite persistent in perusing her musical career. From start to finish this CD from Lingle is a very pleasurable and entertaining musical statement. It has a very soothing Rockabilly quality to it and even dabbles in Folk, Country, and Classic Southern Rock. Any fans of any of these musical styles will enjoy this latest release from Lingle. It's clearly marketed for those who like a female singer with a mystique of say a Cher, Cheryl Crow and even Brandi Carlisle. I get the impression Lingle and together with producer Bo Barber are rolling with what they know as performers and artists. In other words she hits the spot by just being who she is. Favorite tracks include Track 2 (Last Call for Love), Track 4 (Whiskey for Breakfast), and Track 8 (Just Hung up the Phone) All of these songs have amazing feel and rich in wisdom. Within each one of these compositions Lingle finds her soul and delivers her best musical mojo. HSe has an appealing voice and her band is spot on and just makes the whole CD even more enjoyable with hints on Mandolin, Drums, Bass, Piano and amazing Steel Guitar and R&B type solos. The overall vibe is very honest yet upbeat. Lingle is not afraid to expose the truth of life, love within her music.

I see Lingle as a diamond in the rough. I am eager to hear what more music will sound like in the futire. In close most famous artists out there have "it" I'm not so sure what it but Heather Lingle has whatever "it" may be.
