This is the first I've heard of Mr. Meeble. The EP is good. I agree, good to sit back and chill to. I thought the best song on the EP was "gift", but I like the slower ambient sounding songs. Great song if you happen to find yourself revving. It pairs good with Hotel Window. I actually added two of the songs to a meditation compilation I have. Gift and Hotel Window actually sound kinda the same, so they go well back to back. It's funny, I liked the mix of liar better than the original, and I liked the original gift better. I think his lyrics take away from the EP. He's has potential to create a great meditative state, his lyrics take away from that. I listened to Never trust the chinese as well, and feel the same way. Soulful and a good mixer, but the voice takes away from the mellow feel the EP creates.

Mr. Meeble doesn't fail to impress with their new album "Nostalgic for Now". Like their first album, they provide an emotional and cerebral experience through beautiful electronic masterpieces. Mr. Meeble has an uncanny way of expressing human feelingthrough abstraction, this album, along with the previous, capture every elegant and transient piece of emotion that we may feel. This new album is fresh, more conceptual than the last, giving it a less "human" sound. It's easy to listen to if you want to kick back and chill to some tunes without a worry, but also wonderful for engaging in a cognitive, artistic experience. Their work is always quality, and absolutely worth a buy! It is also recommended that you look up their recent music video for the song "Star Power", as it visually represents how eloquent and striking Mr. Meeble can be. Great album!

What do memories sound like? If your memories are anything like mine, Mr. Meeble's new EP, Nostalgic For Now. Liar begins the psychological journey, shuffling through past emotions, imploding the moment the searing pedal steel riff begins. It rips through your thoughts with a barrage of flashing imagery. Star Power only builds on the euphoric sensations - you can almost see the hypnogogic imagery as it's sonic patterns move through you. Then, watch it all fall apart with Gift. This EP shakes you and takes you places, but it doesn't abandon you. Hotel Window" tiptoes in and plays like credits to your favorite movie. Liar (Soulwhirling mix), pulls you into somber place, guided by a hauntingly played piano. Unexpectedly, Gift (Sergey vs. Meeble) finishes the trip with a bubbly upbeat rendition of the original. This isn't music - it is an experience - and sadly, it is over - that is, until the next Mr. Meeble release&
