Sinners & Saints is made up of Rob and Mark Lind who found themselves without bands when Blood for Blood, Rob’s band, folded and The Ducky Boys, Mark’s band, also disipated. While the two had never been in bands together they had always thought about it. They met up with Anthony Paplardo (Ten Yard Fight, In My Eyes) and Sinners and Saints was born. Their whole mandate is to rock like bands seem to have forgotten just how to play RAWK. There are glam overtones throughout the album but for the most part The Sky Is Falling is a pure rock n roll album that hits you in all the right places. Songs are catchy and the lyrics are memorable. I even hear some pick slides. When was the last time you heard that? Let’s hope the world is ready to rock like Sinners & Saints once again. If that’s the case then this band will ride out and become fairly big.
