For as many years as Jennyanykind have been around they still manage to sound fresh and original. Their sound is very hard to pinpoint. I have heard some comparisons to Bob Dylan but I don't think that even comes close to the actual depth the Holland brothers write at. They have a southern feel to them for sure like a psychedelic Marah or Black Crowes. The organ always adds a nice touch too. Their songs truck along with clear direction avoiding any obstacles that get in their path. They aren't afraid to dabble in the blues either. The Holland brothers aren't to be taken too seriously and yet if you let them get under your skin your hooked for good.
