Suicide - Suicide Ii
When singer Alan Vega and keyboardist Martin Rev started Suicide they probably would have never guessed the impact they would have on contemporary music. When they started out there was very little keyboard programmed music, let alone this dark. Almost every '80's syth pop band would have to thank Suicide for bringing the option forward. Although now they are more associated with the more industrial side of things like Throbbing Gristle and Revolting Cocks. This first album includes the classics Frankie Teardrop and Rocket USA. Another one of those albums that never received enough credit when it was out but the splash came later. Definitely worth tracking down.
