Thistle provides a great listen with these four songs found on the Oxygen EP. This three piece comes to us from Cincinnati and is a great guitar rock band that reminds me of all that Hum had to offer and much more. These three guys have released two albums, Tremble Kisser and Sea Legs on their own label, Tiberius. Thistle’s guitar lines are really catchy and superbly infecting. I had to put this all so brief EP on repeat for about ten times before I had had my fill. The music that Thistle makes is sincere and you can tell their dedication with the formation of their own label to get the deserved music out to the masses. This is a must have EP so venture over to Tiberius’ website to order it for yourself. In the meantime I am going to see if I can track down some of Thistle’s other material.
