Tram - Frequently Asked Questions
Tram has quickly attained quite a large audience. They attract the likes of the "slo-core" type bands like Low and Bedhead but they also have a fantastic songwriting knack that resembles that of Nick Drake. They almost slipped by me with thier first album but once I gave it a couple of good listens I was sold. Frequently Asked Questions is their second album and the band has improved threefold. The cello bits fit in like a dream and Brit Paul Anderson has really found his voice and the potential it has. He almost rivals the talents of fellow Brit, Radiohead's Thom Yorke especially on "He Walks Alone". Don't just give Tram's albums a single listen and walk away. They demand repeated listens and preferably late at night on your headphones. Tram is quickly becoming one of my favorite mellow bands.
