Tram - A Kind of Closure
And their back for another round, this time Tram is declaring it A Kind of Closure. Could it be that Tram is moving into a different realm after this album? Time will tell but in the meantime, Tram have delivered a very predictable album for what they have been doing since their inception. Their brand of slo-core is similar to that of Low but a little more orchestral and that hasn’t changed on A Kind Of Closure. You need to sit down and get intimate with not only this album but their previous ones as well. While more slocore styled bands are gloomy, Tram possess an albeit quiet but very uplifting feeling in large doses. A Kind Of Closure provides a very good background album for doing work as long as it doesn’t lull you to sleep. It is also a very good before bedtime album to hypnotize you into sleep. Tram gets nowhere fast but in the end you realize that’s exactly what they want.
