Into The Pink was preceded by a lot of hype both for having signed to a major label and being produced by Dave Grohl. It excedes all expectations. It has the infamous Nirvana sound that Mr. Grohl knows so well. Before I scare off the anti-grunge people I should explain. This is the standard 3 piece rock band with not only influences from Nirvana (still a good influence) but they blend it with a touch of Radiohead. Into the Pink provides a very interesting listen as Anne Marie Griffin (bass) and Scott Bondy (guitar) trade off vocal duties. Dave is just there strictly to provide the clean sound that Foo Fighters has mastered and thats it. Should end up on a few top 10's at year end.
