RecommendThis is the way a tribute album should be done. Gram Parsons is looking down on the participants of this project and smiling modestly. Some of the collaborations are mind blowing such as Beck and Emmylou Harris (Sin City), Chris Hillman and Steve Earle (High Fashion Queen), and Lucinda Williams and David Crosby (Return of the Grievous Angel). Some other highlights include Cowboy Junkies doing "Ooh Las Vegas", Gillian Welch lending her beautiful vocals on "Hickory Wind", and Whiskeytown doing a stellar job on "A Song For You". After all that they still manage to come off with a superb encore with the collective known as the Rolling Creekdippers (Julie and Buddy Miller, Victoria Williams, Mark Olson, and Jim Lauderdale) doing "In my Hour Of Darkness". Be proud Gram, be very proud.
