RecommendAfter watching this fantastic film again (just out on video) I decided to venture out and get the stellar soundtrack that went along with the movie. Upon first listen I was completely disapointed as the music on the album was nothing like what Wu-Tangs RZA had pulled of in the movie. The hip hop stylings in the movie were laid back and atmospheric where as the album has complete tracks that I never recalled hearing in the movie. Once I came to the conclusion that this was just a chance for the RZA to do his own thing I looked upon the album just as a hip hop compilation. It makes the grade then with RZA keen ear for producing. A few stand out tracks and the rest a bit of filler. True hip hop fans and Wu-Tang fans will appreciate the work that has gon into the album but if you are like me and were looking for the true soundtrack to the movie you will be disappointed.
