Now for act two. Not too long ago a band named Drunk Horse came into my life to treat me to a barrage of grungy rock riffs. That album was Drunk Horse's sefl titled debut album. Now, a couple of years later they come forth once again issuing a new "two albums on one disc" cencept album. Let me explain. Instead of putting out two albums or a double album Drunk Horse decided to compress their "ideas" into a single disc with two parts: Tanning Salon and Biblical Proportions. The band doesn't really have focus on this album. I realize that it is in essence two albums in one so along the way they hit some highs and lows. The title track "Tanning Salon" is a rump shaker though as is "Vicious & Loathes". The album isn't a waste of time but in order for Drunk Horse to move to the next level I think they must focus on some cool bottom heavy songs. They have potential.
