The Hope Conspiracy is back with their sophomore album Endnote and it’s a skullcrusher. If you get off and super heavy, intense, switch up hardcore, then you need to investigate The Hope Conspiracy. The lead screamer, Kevin Baker, doesn’t let up for one moment. It’s a pounding affair from beginning to end. The guitars are intense with the odd melody thrown in to keep the uninitiated interested in Endnote. It’s moshpit material at it’s finest. I haven’t felt this way since I first listened to S.O.D.. Similar bands that come to mind are Bane, Snapcase, Boy Sets Fire, and Sick of It All. The crunch of the guitars is something that I have never experienced before. Endnote really is an aggressive album and The Hope Conspiracy have easily overcome the dreaded sophomore slump with ease.
