What we have here is you typical metal split CD featuring Mindcore, just as the name indicates a severe blow to the head, and Nailed Promise, which is a little more along the Korn school of thinking. Both of these bands have already had debut albums out so they have already seen a bit of press and airplay. Both bands are very complimentary to one another (who decides which band gets to go first?) because the styles are similar and yet different enough to warrant. Mindrage is more about shoving metalcore right down your throats and although the band (both bands actually) are Christian metal you would never know it with the rage that they possess. Nailed Promise, as was stated earlier is a bit more of a Korn feel with hardcore thrown in for good measure. They are both young bands with talent and watch for their next albums as they are sure to rip a few heads off. And a new word for me is “Christcore�. Put that in your incense burner and smoke it.
