After brushing themselves off from being kicked off of TVT, Nashville Pussy is back with a new label and a new member. KatieLynn takes over on bass guitar but not to worry because she packs quite a punch too like former member, Corey Parks. The other female in the band, the talented Ruyter Suys kicks some serious fretboard butt all over the album and proves that you don’t have to be a man to play this kind of garage rock. The album kicks off by talking about Pussy: “Pussy, it’s all about Pussy and it goes on about dissing record companies. The guitar kicks in on “Say Something Nasty and never lets up until it’s way too late. While Nashville Pussy has released some very interesting material over the past few years, I would have to say that Say Something Nasty is their finest moment. They also choose a couple of brilliant covers including Circle Jerk’s “Beat Me Senseless and Rick Derringer’s “Rock N Roll Hoochie Coo. This is an album that demands to be turned up to 11.
