Christopher Lawrence has risen through the ranks of DJ's playing today's style of trance to become one of the world's premiere players. He was the first US Dj to be signed to Scotland's influential Hook label before moving over to the higher profile Moonshine label. He obviously still keeps in touch with Hook as there are 3 tracks from the label on this album. This new collection shows him pushing the limits and pumping up the party to the next level. Lawrence proves that a good DJ doesn't only have to pick great tracks to play, he also has to know what to do with them too. As a high profile dj such as Christopher should do, he picks tracks that are just barely out of the studio. There are an extremely great collection on United States Of Trance that lead to one of the best listens in a while. This album shows why Lawrence was nominated "best trance dj" at the 1998 global dj mix awards and recognized as "America's top trance DJ" by England's prestigious MUZIK magazine. It's about time to take on the world.
