This chunky little slab of heaviness is sure to please any metal head as well as some of those more interested in the newer stoner rock. Operator Generator is thick and juicy with loads of reverb on the vocals, which makes the music that more intoxicating. They remind a bit of now defunct Warrior Soul with the style of production that the band chooses to use. They use a high tech style of naming their songs (read geekish). Take for instance “Equinox Planetarium or “Quaintance of Natherack. You tell me what the latter title has to do with. Regardless, the band is great at what they do. They take a riff that Fu Manchu might use and distort to the point of sounding like a Kyuss song. It is music that is ripe and packaged for a big arena show complete with the heavy fog machine. The final track is entitled “Soil of Lavamore which sounds like a cross between Led Zepplin and a totally trippy Doors complete with space phasers. It’s all here.
