P.o.d. - The Fundamental Elements of Southtown
This suprisingly original debut from christian metal gurus, P.O.D. (short for Payable On Death), pounds all senses. For the most part you can pretty much forget the fact that they are all tried and true Christians because this rocks right along side the best of the new breed of metal. The energy that the band members put in to the mix creates a very catchy hip-hop metal hybrid that shows some skill unlike some of the other acts out there right now. They chose to cover U2's "Bullet The Blue Sky" and do a fine job turning it into their own.
