Why does Ozzy Osbourne like this band enough to sign them to his very own imprint Divine Recordings? One listen to this angry piece of metal you will understand. Even better, they are Canadian too. From Montreal to be exact. You could easily compare their angst to other metal bands out there but it really wouldn't do them justice. They have harnessed an energy that is rarely reached by other bands. Slaves On Dope are angry and yet full of talent. They can have screaming vocals and then right along side they have backup vocals that are sung very well such as the title track. Don't ever call them rap metal because they don't use any rap at all. Slaves on Dope are 100% angst metal. The album opens with Bill Clinton stating his forgotten statement about his brother, "I have a brother who’s a drug addict, I’m very proud of him." Good way to start a Slaves On Dope album.
