RecommendThis independent band is out to show New York hardcore bands that California can do it just as heavy if not heavier. Although Step is in it's infancy, they pound out the hardcore like they have been doing it for a while now. The members mostly come from a metal style background which reflects in the scheer intensity of the music. The power almost reaches death metal proportions at times. Their short life span doesn't appear to be a hurdle for them as the band meshes together quite nicely as though they are quite comfortable in each others skills. Step sounds like a band that would be great live so be sure and watch for them in your area.
