Strife - Angermeans
Strife is ready to hit the hardcore scene with renewed anger and intensity. Where did they go? In 1998 the band decided to disband and walk away from the hardcore scene that they loved so much. They felt that the scene was becoming stagnant and uninteresting. Hardcore fans all over the world were upset at Strife’s decision but now they will be rejoicing. Strife decided to get together for a couple of benefit shows and they found that they had a renewed interest in the hardcore scene. They headed into the studio in July of 2001 to start work on what would become Angermeans, their third and finest album to date. It is very rare that one can add the term dynamic to a hardcore band but that’s exactly what Strife manage to do with Angermeans. They provide an extreme diversity here all maintaining the anger and intensity that their fans have grown to appreciate. Victory should be happy that Strife is back in action and hordes of fans will be flocking to pick up Angermeans and finding the most interesting and unstagnant album of not only Strife’s career but the hardcore scene as well.
