A new track from Monster Magnet is always a welcome treat let alone the rest of these powerhouse bands. The folks at Heavy Metal have put together quite a relevant compilation of today's most important metal bands. Unlike the original (remember Journey?) these are all hard hitting. Of course with a compilation of this magnitude you are going to get some stinkers but the actual highlight far outweigh them. Machinehead's "Alcoholocaust" is a blistering track as is Pantera's "Imortally Insane". Also strong tracks are included by Puya, Days Of The New and System Of A Down. A bit of a suprise is a track from the MIA Billy Idol (apparently he does some voices in the movie too) and one of the brand new tracks from recently reformed Bauhaus.
