RecommendJason Anderson's brilliant Wolf Colonel has their debut final in the bag. A long time coming but definitely well worth the wait. A genuis when it comes to crafting memorable pop ditties, Jason has collected a bunch and recorded them at Calvin Johnson's (no relation) Dub Narcotic Studios. Just to warn you that since I first heard this album I can't bear to live without. They have a lot in common with Guided By Voices in the way that Jason writes short (most under 2 minutes) slabs of power pop and they are somewhat lo-fi. This was a very nice suprise.
