RecommendWhat better way to show somebody you love them than with a heartfelt tribute album. That’s exactly what Rock Music is. There is just something about Weezer that everyone loves. Not just fans but peers as well and this tribute collects some of today’s best up and coming artists doing Weezer tracks. This is the way tributes should be approached. Bands who have been tremedously influenced by the artist in question. Highlights include the Impossibles’ unique version of “The Good Life�, Elliott doing a really laid back version of “The World Has Turned�, Affinity’s angry/not-so-angry version of “My name is Jonas�, and the Ataris provide a campfire version of “Butterfly� complete with crickets and kids singing along. Rock Music is a fine tribute to Weezer with a bunch of worthy bands.
