Richard Blair is back with another Sidestepper project. This time around Sidestepper is heading towards a latin feel on a lot of the tracks but there is a heavy reggae influence as well. The album starts out with a full-on latin track called "Deja (Mary)" with Ivan Benavides on vocals. It has an airy feel to it that really works well. That seems to be a common theme throughout the album. Nothing is really in your face. It seems that Sidestepper is more content just letting it flow rather than ramming his world influenced music at you. "Me Gustas" is a fun song that has a Calypso feel to it. The title track also features the reggae style of Rubi Dan. He's got a great vocal that sounds like the guy that Shaggy uses on all his hits. Another vocalist that Richard uses a couple times is Ronald Infante. He sounds like a latin soul singer with a great voice. This Sidestepper album has taken off where the last one (More Grip) has left off. There seems to be a lot more depth to this album and Blair should feel proud of that fact.
