Live In A Dive is a Fat Wreck Chord series that is catching some of the labels finest bands in their finest setting, live. Sick Of It All was last years installment with a powerful set that was recorded at San Francisco's Bottom Of The Hill club late in 2001. If you haven't seen Sick Of It All (include me in this category), Live In A Dive will bring the hardcore party home in a furious way. Sick Of It All have been around for almost two decades and there are still bands trying to imitate these guys. There is a reason for this. These boys know what hardcore is all about. This live collection takes from the bands 2 decades worth of material, not focusing on any particular stage, showing that their hardcore style remains as important today as it ever has been. It is recorded so well that you could consider Live In A Dive a compilation too. Fat Wreck should feel proud to house one of the most important hardcore bands in the world.
