RecommendOh, the glory days of skate punk. I'm talking heavy duty, and a genre unto itself. You may or may not remember the likes of the Thrasher Skate Punk compilations but that's the sort of stuff I'm talking about. Well, the boys in S.T.R.E.E.T.S. are trying to relive that style of music. Streets, not the UK two-step dude, is a ridiculous acronym for "skating totally rules everything else totally sucks". The music on Bobognargnar is nothing new although the guys do show that they have heart. This Vancouver based band will even have their own skate model coming out on Anti-Social Skateboards. Hey, if you live the life and enjoying the 4-wheel and one plank lifestyle, Streets may be right up your alley. If you are looking for something new and original, walk away with a smile on your face. These guys are good musicians and it may take them a couple of albums to find their own sound.
