The Blood Brothers are a group of young musicians that have been under the radar for the last couple of years. They recently secured a deal with Artist Direct Records with distribution through BMG and with that in place the released Burn, Piano Island, Burn. Oh, and it's an angry and loud little album with renowned producer Ross Robinson (Korn) at the helm. The boys spaz out to the point of falling apart at times. You might consider The Blood Brothers hardcore but it's a little too much Mike Patton to fit easily. They utilize a dual vocalist (or shall we call them screamers) to achieve the cacophony of sound coming out in all directions. I kind of imagine the Smurfs covering Fugazi. How's that for imaging? Another thing that separates The Blood Brothers from other so called hardcore bands is that they are just out to have a good time. There is no political agenda on the line, they just want to rock out and hopefully pick up some fans along the way. There are times where they are downright funky ("Fucking's Greatest Hits") and other times you think for a split second that they could actually be played on the radio ("The Salesman, Denver Max"). The Blood Brothers pack quite a punch with Burn, Piano Island, Burn and I would expect to see this album on a couple year end lists.

I hate to agree with your opinion as you've been a crabby fucker lately. But this shit is absolutely adrenalizing. It has just a taste of annoyance. There's something I cant quite figure. Of I'm listening to their Young Machete stuff, so it could all be an effed up opinon, but I will try to get my hands on burn, piano island, burn. I like the bottom aggressiveness and energy.
