Small Brown Bike is going for the big time in the coming months. Not only have they just finished this Smallman EP but they have signed a deal with Lookout Records for their next album, due later this year. The band has been together since 1998 and has been gaining a rabid fanbase along their travels. It's going to be one of those worthwhile journeys for the young band as their recognition is going to be right around the corner. This little 5 song EP showcases the bands fine emo-style songwriting. "Blank Landscapes" is one of the most dynamic tracks on the EP. "So I Fall" takes a complete left curve for the band with actual twang and circumstance. The strange thing is that this punk band sounds quite at ease playing this type of music.
