The label Deep Elm has been pushing the Too Young To Die for a while now. In America, a life is lost to suicide every 18 minutes...that's nearly 30,000 people every year. Quite depressing actually. Deep Elm is under the impression that if we are all just a little more caring and understanding towards people between the ages of 18 and 24, one of the hardest times of some people's lives. With the Too Young To Die compilation and tour, Deep Elm hopes that awareness will at least decrease those numbers by some degree. And you know they are dedicated when this compilation is one of the best compilations that they have ever put out. Featuring pretty much every band on their roster and an impressive 19 tracks on it, it is a great deal. They didn't toss on throw away tracks either. If you are at all interested in Deep Elm and any of the bands on the label, you need this compilation. It is for a good cause. Everyone from Benton Falls to Settlefish to Cross My Heart to The Appleseed Cast are on this album. They are all album tracks too. Nothing obscure or unreleased. Not only great music but this compilation also has a step by step guide to help friends (and yourself) if they are considering suicide.
