I haven't witnessed an All Out War recording previous to Condemned To Suffer but don't hold that against me. I'm sure I've listened to more than my share of music in by 32 years. For those like me, here is a brief recording history of this band. All Out War is a band from New York that blends elements of hardcore and death metal to bring something just a little different to the metal table. You always hear of comparisons to Slayer mixed with Cro-mags (it's even in their bio) but they are closer to that of Earth Crisis than anything else. I do hear a bit of the hardcore sounds of Sick Of It All in their music as well. The band has been pumping out this heavy shit for almost 10 years and Condemned To Suffer is supposed to be their hardest album to date. I totally enjoyed Condemned. It is the sort of album that brings you back to when this sort of thing was new. Apparently the band took their time making this album. Five years to be exact. Sounds like a similar story to that of Shai Hulud. If you like your music to bowl you over and kick you while you are down then All Out War might be just what the doctor ordered. My goal is to see this band live. It should prove to be an impressive show. In the meantime, chalk up Condemned to Suffer as a crossover classic.
