Looking for the one Christmas CD to buy this year? Look no further than Christmas Remixed. This album is so fun and retains some of the Christmas carol magic that you felt when you first heard Andy Williams' "It's the Most Wonderful Time Of The Year" (contained here in a remix form). There are 12 holiday classics here in a form that you have probably never imagined. Remember the old Louis Armstrong and Velma Middleton track "Baby It's Cold Outside"? It's here with some fat beats added to it. It funky as hell. Not enough? Try on Dean Martin's version of "Jingle Bells" reworked by Dan The Automator. One of the best remixes on this collection is Charles Brown's "Merry Christmas Baby" mixed by Mno. Another smoking tracks is the funked up Kay Starr track "I've Got My Love To Keep Me Warm". There was one fault I found with this disc and it was the Bing Crosby contribution of "The First Noel". He was so far down in the mix and the beats just seemed way to awkward. But The Berlin Symphony Orchestra's "Nutcracker Suite" more than makes up for that fault. 47 minutes of holiday classics remixed for your listening pleasure, makes for a great stocking stuffer.
