Let’s start of Omar Santana’s review by saying that Hardcore music is definitely not for everyone. With that being said, Omar easily maintains the reign of Hardcore’s greatest DJ and with the release of Hardcore for the Headstrong he is only going to further that. If you have never witnessed the awesome power that Hardcore has on its listeners then I am sure you will be surprised. Omar maintains a nice mix between his own compositions and others but of course he leans a bit towards the H2oh records catalog seeing that this is co-released with them. Once Omar gets underway your head starts to take a beating with the thunderous pounding of his drums and the synthetic sounds of his sampler. There really isn’t a better name for this style of music than Hardcore. Definitely not for the light-hearted or someone looking for the next Chemical Brothers. Move along please.
