I'm not sure if Kriztal is flogging a dead horse here or what but this is the third Vintage Chill album I have received in less than a year and I still have one more to review. You may recall from a review a couple of months ago that Vintage Chill is a downtempo electronica compilation series that dubbed "Music For Wine Lovers". Sure, you can enjoy Vintage Chill over a glass of chardonnay or merlot but I would say that martini's might be in order instead. It's hard to pull out a favorite song out of the batch because they all kind of blend into one another. I guess that is the sign of a good downtempo comp when there is nothing completely outstanding on the album. There is once again a mix of vocal and non-vocal tracks, neither being featured more than one another. Consider this series to be a good album to buy for someone who may be curious about this kind of music. There is nothing grating and it is indeed a good background album. Some tracks with a bit of a worldbeat flavor but mostly western influenced. Coming up next, Volume 4, cleverly subtitled "Winter".
