RecommendA Small Victory is a new emo-style band from Georgia that is out to prove that they know how to rock. Lobster is a good home for them. A home that many up and coming emo bands have at one time called home (Yellowcard). While Lobster has plans for A Small Victory full-length some point in 2004, The Pieces We Keep EP is a great introduction to a young but talented band. With melodic tracks like the opening title track they are bound to gain an army of fans in no time. "Their Lovers Fall" really incorporates a lot of styles into the one song. Chugga chugga guitar and some really hot harmonies make for a great listen. Mark Walker has the typical emo singer's voice but it seems like he has a lot more up his sleeve than the average. Watch for A Small Victory in your area and go see them live before everyone is talking about them.
