RecommendBuddyhead Suicide is about pranks; basically prank calls. 10 calls terrorizing record execs are interspersed throughout these two discs. Bands that are included on this crazy compilation consist of Buddyhead mainstays, The Icarus Line and Shat but also go as far as include a couple tracks from Burning Brides and The Dillinger Escape Plan (a crazy "Rebel Yell" rendition). One of the best tracks on disc one is Ink and Dagger's "Creatures Like Us". The music is great but it is interrupted with all the pranks. It deserves the MP3 treatment to separate the pranks from the content. The pranks are OK once but I couldn't see the pranks holding up to repeated listens. Think Jerky Boys but more along the music publisher line of things. The music is heavy and punk/metal oriented and pretty good for the most part. Strip out the pranks and you would have a single disc, a smoking hot single disc.
