It's kinda fun to listen to these rereleases this day and age. It's pretty scary to thing that My Life With The Thrill Kill Kult could still actually be relevant today. This particular album consists of the entire Kooler Than Jesus EP plus a bunch of bonus, rare material. For those of you that remember the Jesus EP you will undoubtedly be excited about it's reissue. It was one of the strongest outputs that the guys did. It might have to do with it's brevity if it still clocks in at over 3/4 of an hour. Now, with all the other tracks popped into the mix, we are looking at well over an hour. While White Zombie may have cashed in on mixing electronics, samples and heavy lyrics, these guys paved the path. The way they inject movie samples into pretty much all their tracks and manage to provide value is an artform in itself. My only complaint with this album is that they messed up the order of the Kooler songs. At least they are all present. That's the main thing. This is a great place to get acquainted with My Life With The Thrill Kill Kult.
