Tall Paul has the honour of being the 4th artist in Moonshine’s Mixed Live series. If you don’t give a rat’s ass about live DJ mixes then I think that you better listen up. Mixer Magazine (electronica’s music bible) has stated this about live releases: “This type of release will be a rite of passage for every DJ with aspirations of world domination, and out notion of mix Cds as purely studio creations will be history�. I must say that that is a pretty strong statement but Moonshine isn’t just going to sit back and watch it happen. They have decided to jump in with both feet and start this Mixed Live series. Tall Paul’s edition was recorded at the Giant in Los Angeles and the club itself has become a recognized brand. With Tall Paul being voted #1 DJ in the UK two years in a row you can start to guess the energy that was there on this particular night. He blasts through 16 tracks of high energy dance music and gets the crowd whipped into a fury. Having been included now in the Moonshine Mixed Live series should help Tall Paul get his deserved recognition on this side of the pond.
