This electronica duo from Europe has been gaining lots of praise from the underground world. With the release of The Army of 1-0 they hope to expand their techno/house fanbase into something more of a global nature. This album cruises through almost an hour of material without really demanding your attention. It could be considered background music but if people were so inclined they would end up dancing up a storm. The Youngsters music is very beat and sample oriented but manage to keep a house feel to the entire album. Even so, they are capable of keeping each song fresh and different enough from the last to warrant repeat listens. The Army of 1-0 is not groundbreaking but it does showcase some fine musicianship. If you are a house fan you will most likely enjoy this album. It's tracks like "Cafe de la Poste" that will stand up with the test of time, proving that these guys are creating timeless music just the same.
