Icy Demons is a bit of a demon itself. It is a side project for a couple people who I have no clue about and the music contained is some music I normally wouldn't be akin to. Fight Back contains some fairly experimental music but at times I almost think of a vocal-less Tom Waits. The music has a bit of that carnival feel too it but even more out there. Then at times Icy demons come off as a Trans Am knock off. Their music is not at all cutting edge but if you normally like your music a little on the Avant Garde side then check out Fight Back. It is a nice mix between electronic sounds and samples as well as organic instruments and the odd quirky vocal. Maybe a bit of Olivia Tremor Control in here? Naw, it's the graphics that are making me think like that. The illustration on the cover deserves mention too. It is some pretty neat, hand drawn artwork that extends right inside the package.
