I Can Lick Any Sonofabitch is ready for the next round. The band named after the autobiography of John L. Sullivan, the band started by Mike Damron has been gaining notoriety for their live shows. Menace is the next chapter and the band has reached even further in the bottle for this album. I found that this album becomes a little tiring by the time you get to "Walkin" and "Menace". There is still some charm to I Can Lick but I think they almost need to look at what they are doing and what their whole sound is all about. The big exception is the raucous opener "Gone". It kicks ass! There are a few other decent tracks on Menace but I would suggest that if you are just getting into this band try out Put Here To Bleed first. If that gets you off, then move onto Menace. It seems as though Mike has a little something against Fred Phelps and the "Westbro Baptist Church". It is something to do with the gay bashing of Phelps and his church. Get it out Mike. That sort of thing will kill ya. I Can Lick Any Sonofabitch in the House is a good band. This is a decent album but definitely not their finest.
