I know it's really not the site's style to review an R&B album as a classic but this is one that have recently discovered that I think you will totally enjoy. Most of you have probably heard some of the songs off of Stevie Wonder's Original Musiquarium or, for that matter, have the entire album. If not, you most likely have heard some form of "Superstitious" being covered by one band or another. Or maybe you remember the Red Hot Chili Peppers doing "Higher Ground" on Mother's Milk. How many weddings have you been to and heard "You are the sunshine of my life"? OK, that's just a few tracks off of this double album, originally released in 1982. It was recently remastered (2000) and issued on CD again. The sound quality is amazing and some of the other essential tracks on Musiquarium are brought to life. Listen to "You Haven't Done Nothin" and you will wonder why you haven't given Stevie a little more attention in your music collection. There are a couple of lazy tracks that might have been better off on a different album but tracks like "Do I Do" confirm Mr. Wonder as one of the coolest brothers in town. There is enough funk on this album to please most funkmonsters. This package was remastered and re-released in 2000.
