The Verbrilli Sound is an electronica project by Don Verbrilli. Don states that The Verbrilli Sound is more an idea to use the listener’s free time usefully. He mentions that there are always battles going on for a person’s spare time and that this is the most valuable time to a person. What better way to spend one’s free time than with good music. That’s where The Verbrilli Sound fits in. It’s not demanding music, mostly lyric-less, but it leaves room for imagination and exploration. Don also leaves room for humor in his music with cleverly titled songs like “Mating Song of the Big-Headed North American Bar Swine and “DJ Dogg’s Huge World Turd. It’s not like the song titles really mean anything, being primarily instrumentals but it does give fans a way to distinguish between tracks. Songs get funky and down while others lay fairly dormant and are perfect for background music. In fact, working to Leisure War is a pleasure. It’s one of those rare electronica albums that is not abrasive and allows the left side of the brain to work in harmony with the right. The Verbrilli Sound is perfect for your free time.
