RecommendI had never hear do of Jondi & Spesh before this album but I have found out that I have been missing a lot from this San Francisco based duo. The Answer marks Jondi and Spesh's third album of original material. The two have been a driving force in electronica with their Looq label (whose 12"s get play from all the top DJs around the world). The Answer is quite an impressive album. It is a little darker than a lot of the other DJ acts have been producing lately but is it ever enticing. You might say that their music is a little on the minimalistic side but these guys know what they are doing. There are a few tracks with vocals but for the most part, The Answer stays instrumental. This music is so intriguing that it could be one of the best electronica sets I have heard this year. Be on the lookout for Jondi & Spesh to become one of the next big things on the scene.
