RecommendDrum and Bass can be made outside of the UK. We is every bit as experimental as any of the Bristol based D&B gurus out there. Based out of New York they have what has become known as the "Illbient" sound. They started out in the art scene doing multimedia shows and such and then We was born. This is their second album. Soundscapes mixed with awesome beats and rhythms make up the most of the disc. It does start off slow with Birimbau which is just a drone basically. It does pick up significantly after that. This is one of the most intersesting inventive releases I have heard this year.
